RBJ and Corey N Chris Wreck

The Ronald B Johnson and Corey N Chris is South Florida's most unusual technical wreck. The 130 foot dredge Corey N Chris was sunk in 265 fsw in 1986, and when the 226 foot freighter RBJ was sunk in 1988, she accidentally landed on top at a 90 degree angle. Years ago Captain Jim Mims made this drawing, and the wreck has settled over time. This five minute movie was made during two separate dives on 23-Sep-2007 from Avid Diver Charters.

Hydro Atlantic Wreck - Revisited

This four minute movie of the Hydro Atlantic was made just two days after the one below, on 28-Aug-2007, from Avid Diver Charters. Two Optima rebreather divers begin the dive at the stern and make a complete tour of the wreck to the bow. The visibility was great that day, and we were swimming among large schools of bait fish and spotted one of the large goliath groupers that like to hang out on the wreck.
